Arrive at the Airport, where one of our team members welcome you and take you to the hotel. Later, you get informed about the day program and rest for a few hours. In the evening, you have a welcome dinner organized by the company.

You wake up early in the morning and go on a guided sightseeing tour of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. A professional tour guide will accompany you during the tour. You will visit places like Boudhnath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and Monkey Temple. Later, in the day, you prepare for the trip and arrange all the gears.

After having breakfast, you drive to Pokhara, the city of lakes. The drive will be long and offers beautiful views of rolling green hills, rivers, terraced farms, and small settlements. Upon reaching Pokhara, you head to the hotel and rest for the day. In the evening, you can explore the Lakeside market. There is also the option of boating on Fewa Lake.

Leaving Pokhara behind, you begin driving towards Nayapul. The drive will be bumpy and presents the outskirts view. From Nayapula, you begin trekking through small villages, teahouses, and green hills. You will then cross Tikhedunga Khola on a suspension bridge and gradually ascend on a steep trail to Ulleri. You get to see superb views of Mt. Hiunchuli and Annapurna South.

A steep climb from Ulleri leads to Ghorepani. The trail goes through dense forests of oak & rhododendron. You reach Banthanti and then Nangethanti. From Nangethanti, an hour-long drive takes to Ghorepani village.

Wake up early in the morning and hike to Poon Hill to see gorgeous sunrise views. The trail will be a little rough and steep. From the viewpoint, you get to see glorious sunrise along with Himalayan mountain views. Later, you trek to Tadapani. The trail moves along lush forests of pine and rhododendron. Passing through Banthanti, you reach Tadapani.

Following a steep trail, you descend through rhododendron forests. You pass by Gurjung village, which is a Gurung village. From here, an easy walk will take you to Chomrong.

Dropdown via a stone staircase and cross a suspension bridge over Chhomrong Khola. The trail moves out of the side valley and passes through lush forests of bamboo, oak, and rhododendron. You then ascend to Kuldi and a long steep descent through the dense forest takes you to Dovan.

Leaving Dovan behind, the trail passes through a muddy path and move above a river. You soon reach Deurali, where you will be spending the night.

Trekking along narrow Modi Khola Valley, you reach the base of Mt. Fishtail. As this mountain is not allowed to climb, this base camp is not official. From here, you get to witness stunning views of Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Hiunchuli, and Mt. Machhapuchhre. This area is also famous as Annapurna Sanctuary.

Today, the trail leads you to Annapurna Base Camp. From MBC, the trail descends along the mountain pass to mountainside offering beautiful views of terraced fields and meadows. Soon, you will approach Annapurna South Base Camp from where you can see gorgeous views of snow-capped mountains. Spend some time at the base camp and descend to MBC for night stay.

The trail today descend to Bamboo. You trek through dense forests of rhododendron, bamboo & oak, and small villages enjoying wonderful views.

Trek on a steep trail to Kuldi Ghar and move towards Sinuwa. Further, the trail gradually descends to Chomrong Khola and climb up through the stone staircase. You reach Chomrong and descend to Jhinu Danda via a steep path. At Jhinu Danda, you can relax in the hot spring.

After having breakfast, you begin trekking through the lush forest and soon reach Pothana.

Drop down to Kande following an easy path. You pass by small settlements area. From Kande, you drive back to Pokhara. Upon reaching Pokhara, you head to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to rest and explore around.

Today, you drive back to Kathmandu. The route will be the same as before. Enjoying scenic views, you reach Kathmandu. Rest for a few hours, and stroll on the vibrant streets of Thamel. Later, you have a farewell dinner organized by the company.

Your trip has come to an end to us. If you are not planned for any other adventures, then our representative will drop you at the Airport for your flight back home.

Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) Symptoms & Prevention

If not acclimated properly, there can be chances of altitude sickness. Altitude sickness is a common illness that can occur to anyone during high altitude journey. It is very important to keep yourself away from it, as it can get life-threatening in a worst-case scenario. Therefore, we have designed our itinerary including adequate rest days. Preventive measures

  • Include an adequate number of rest days in the itinerary

  • Do not gain more than 500 meters in a day
  • Try to spend the night in lower altitude
  • Acclimatize properly at a lower altitude

Best time to go to Annapurna Base Camp Trek

March to May and October to November are the best months to go on Annapurna Base Camp Trek. The moderate climate and stable weather makes this time of the year is perfect for the venture in the Annapurna region. The mornings and nights can get a little crisp in comparison to day time.
